Joy In The Morning Sermon Notes

Sermon 9 of our series on "Unshakable Hope" by Max Lucado.

Psalms 30:5b - 5b Weeping may last through the night,

but joy comes with the morning.

Psalms 6:6-7 - I am worn out from my groaning. All night long I flood my bed with weeping and drench my couch with tears.My eyes grow weak with sorrow; they fail because of all my foes.

Psalm 22:1-2 - My God, my God, why have you forsaken me? Why are you so far from saving me, so far from my cries of anguish? My God, I cry out by day, but you do not answer, by night, but I find no rest. 

1 Kings 19:4 - But he himself went a day’s journey into the wilderness, and came and sat down under ajuniper tree; and he requested for himself that he might die, and said, “It is enough; now, O Lord, take my life, for I am not better than my fathers.”
