My uncle Buck (Yes, I have an Uncle Buck) is our family historian for my dad’s side of the family. He keeps track of relatives and does his best to keep in contact with them, and he does a great job. His mom was from Belgium, so Buck and his wife go to visit them at least every few years. The family tree is important to my Uncle Buck, and it should be.
Jesus talks about a similar sort of tree in the gospels, and this Sunday, we’re exploring what it has to teach us about community. I hope you can join us!
