It’s good to help people. I think you’d be hard pressed to find someone that disagrees with that statement. But why we help matters just as much as how we help.
Some people help others to inject some good in the world out of true care for others. Some people help because it’s easy sometimes to give out of their abundance and it’s not a real inconvenience. Some people help because they want to get paid for it or want to be owed to someone.
