English is a widely used language around the world, and certainly here in the United States. We learn to talk in English from a young age and we discover that it’s everywhere we look.
That makes life easier, being able to understand things in our own language. But when we open our Bible, we are transported to a very different time and culture, and God speaks to them through that culture!
